Are there any limits on model size in terms of memory to save it onto a smartphone?

It depends on the number of nodes of the model, the type and number of fields, etc. The higher the number of fields used to build your model and the more nodes your model contains, the bigger the size. However it will never be a truly big file, so it should range from a few KBs to a few MBs maximum.
