  3. Associations

How can I make sure associations are statistically relevant, i.e., they are not found by chance due to the data I'm using?

The associations feature incorporates statistical tests to control the risk of finding spurious associations. Assuming your sample data are a random sample of the broader population about which you wish to reach conclusions, these tests ensure that the risk of "discovering" a spurious association is no greater than the significance level that you specify. By default, significance levels are set to 5% (akin to 95% confidence level).
