When logging in BigML's Dashboard you will land on your personal environment, showing your private resources. However, a BigML user can also be invited to collaborate in one or many BigML Organizations. Each organization is a totally separate environment, and that environment has its own credentials and properties as to the allowed dataset size, the number of tasks, and the expiration date. Therefore, users enrolled in Organizations will be allowed to work in the Organization environment even if their personal account has not an active subscription. In the Organization environment, users will always be working inside a Project. The Project can be public (shared with all the Organizations members) or private (only available to the user or a selected group of members). The Organization administrator is who decides the users enrollement period and grants access to projects.
Let's visualize this with a simple example. The user GBROWN has a personal account and he is also part of the Acme Corporation organization. By selecting his personal dashboard or the organization workspace he will be able to easily switch between workspaces and each workspace will contain different projects and resources.
If GBROWN's personal account subscription has expired, he will only be able to view the resources he created previously in his personal workspace. However, as he is member of the Acme Corporation organization workspace, the selector allows him to change to the organization's workspace. Switching to the organization workspace, GBROWN will still be able to create resources within the organization's limits. He will be able to work in the organization's workspace until the owner of the organization uninvites him, reduces his rights and access, or until the organization itself reaches its own expiration date.
