As the owner or administrator you are granted access to all the projects that the Organization contains and you are responsible for:
- Admitting users to the Organization and revoking their access.
- Deciding their role: admin, member or restricted member
- Creating and deleting private or public projects
- Granting or revoking access to private projects
These actions give you full power to manage your environment according to your needs.
For a thorough description of all the BigML Organization administrator tools and options, please check the Organizations documentation and the related FAQs.
Bulk enrollment
The BigML Organization configuration panel provides self-registration links that you can share with the selected users so that they join the Organization independently. By default, users will be accepted as restricted members. They will be able to work on any public projects and only those private projects where they are granted access by administrators (but will never be able to create projects by themselves).
However, it's often the case that:
- A significant batch of users needs to be enrolled
- You need each one of them to be able to work on their own private project
When that is required, BigML Organizations can be configured to automatically create a new private project for each new user added as a restricted member. The BigML Organizations documentation describes how to choose that option, that must be set before the self-registration link is generated and shared.
