In BigML you can create and manage many types of resources: sources, datasets, models, ensembles, etc. When created, BigML automatically assigns a unique identifier to every resource, called resource ID. The resource ID is a string that starts with the resource type followed by a slash, and a string of 24 alpha-numeric characters (resource/id) that can be used to retrieve and refer to your resources both via the BigML Dashboard and API. If you are using the BigML Dashboard, you can find the corresponding ID at the end of the resource view URL, or in the PRIVACY panel:
If you are using the BigML API, you can find your resource ID under the "resource" attribute of the API response. Please find here more details about the API response syntax.
